I originally got into photography through one of my dad’s girlfriends back when I was little, but it didn’t pick up until I started birdwatching around the state. Once I got really invested I wanted to capture things that I saw and worked primarily as a nature documentarian for all of my birding competitions and trips around the state. During COVID-19, however, with everything shut down, I started biking around Atlanta taking street-style photographs of anything and everything I came across. Abandoned buildings, closed stores, people, places, things. After that point, I knew I wanted to change my direction when it came to photography. I still started College as a biology major, as my original intent was to work with that to do more wildlife photography, but after one semester it quickly changed into a photography major
